Gints Vilgerts practice is mostly focused on all aspects of M&A, corporate restructuring, real estate and complex commercial dispute cases.
During his practice in Latvia and abroad (Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Estonia) for the last eight years he has participated in more than 50 transactions of total deal-size in excess of EUR 2 billion for clients from more than 10 jurisdictions. Gints Vilgerts has been guest lecturer in Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Riga Graduate School of Law and Riga Business School.

Dr. Jānis Kubilis leads the litigation and dispute resolution practice. Jānis has extensive experience representing clients in disputes and litigations concerning such areas as construction and real estate, banking and finance, corporate, employment, restructuring and insolvency, shipping and transport, insurance, media, IT, tax, IPR as well as in national and international arbitration.
Jānis’ professional focus is on all matters related to civil liability, analysing and evaluating the liability risks and advising on how to address them contractually and on how to protect the client’s interests in legal proceedings.
Jānis reinforces his professional experience with participation in research projects on modernising Latvian law and contributions to academic publications on current legal issues.
